Public-record lien data in our product

Our product is built from tax liens that the IRS and California agencies have recorded with county recorders and the California Secretary of State. A lien record may include a taxpayer's name and address, the kind of tax, tax periods, the unpaid balance shown on the lien, and recording details such as the county, date and document number.

We collect this information only from records that government authorities have made publicly available. We do not add phone numbers, email addresses or other information from outside sources, and we do not combine lien records with credit, social media or marketing data. The people named in these records are generally not our customers.

We make this data available only to business subscribers who agree to use it lawfully, to comply with Circular 230 §10.30 and other professional rules, and not to use it for credit, employment, insurance, housing or other eligibility decisions.

If you are named in a lien. You can contact us at hello@lienresources.com with questions about a record. If a lien has been released or withdrawn, send us the recorded release or the agency's confirmation and we will update or remove the record in our product. Because the lien comes from an official government record, it remains available from the original source, and we cannot release or remove a lien on the agency's behalf. To resolve the lien itself, contact the agency that filed it or a qualified tax professional.
